Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke with him about his function in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the ways in which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the business's success. One of the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search Results page. Our tech stack consists of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We likewise work carefully with the Artificial intelligence team to bring AI-driven functions to the consumer experience, such as search significance enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collaborative, friendly group that prioritizes strong onboarding and continuous support. New group members are guided through the ramp-up process until they're confident taking full ownership of their work. Each staff member is valuable to other staff member when facing difficulties. Throughout this journey, I've developed deep domain know-how, remained up-to-date with evolving market practices, and consistently worked with modern-day innovations. My commitment to continuous learning and effect caused my promo to Staff Software Engineer and my role as one of the team's technical leads. Most recently, I have actually taken on the duty of being the People Leader for the team-an exciting next step that enables me to support others in their growth while continuing to drive technical instructions. I take pride in the reality that my long tenure here hasn't slowed my growth-instead, it's been a platform for me to develop technically and take on greater management Q.
