The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is low-cost, typically leaving little incentive to find more environmentally-friendly methods of moving around.

But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have risen the rate of oil, the issue of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.

In a region that has one of the greatest carbon footprints in the world, one business is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's established the Middle East's first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, already their client-list contains McDonald's.
